Job Responsibilities 1. R&D Strategy and Pipeline Planning · Develop the company's early R&D strategy in the cardio-renal-metabolic (CRM) field. Based on disease epidemiology and unmet medical needs, layout differentiated innovative pipelines by integrating disease biological mechanisms. · Lead target research and evaluation in the CRM field. Identify potential targets through literature analysis, market research and other methods, and cooperate with CRO institutions to carry out preliminary target validation work. 2. Early Drug Development · Lead the formulation of early development strategies for drugs targeting CRM indications, including the setting of target screening criteria and the planning of production strategies. · Coordinate CRO institutions to carry out the entire drug discovery process, such as target screening, in vitro/in vivo efficacy evaluation, etc. Supervise the work of CRO institutions and control quality. · Promote the development of complex molecules in the CRM field. Lead cooperation with CRO institutions in complex molecule development to ensure projects progress as planned. · Establish a translational medicine platform in the CRM field. Cooperate with CRO institutions to develop disease-specific biomarkers, PD/PK models, etc. · Collaborate closely with internal teams of the company. Guide drug design and clinical protocol formulation by integrating research data provided by CRO institutions. 3. CRO Cooperation Management and Technology Platform Construction · Be responsible for cooperation negotiations with CRO institutions, establish and maintain good cooperative relationships. Ensure smooth communication, controllable progress and qualified quality during project execution. · Introduce cutting-edge technologies suitable for CRM research. Improve R&D efficiency jointly with CRO institutions, evaluate external cooperation opportunities, and lead scientific due diligence and BD project implementation. Requirements 1. Educational Background · Doctoral degree in cardio-renal-metabolic, molecular biology, pharmacology or related majors. Experience in top overseas universities or scientific research institutions is preferred. 2. Experience Requirements · More than 10 years of drug R&D experience, including over 5 years in the CRM field and 3 years in CRO cooperation management. · Successfully advanced at least 2 innovative drug projects in the CRM field from target discovery to preclinical stage. · Familiar with biological development links of complex molecules such as ADC/bispecific antibodies in the CRM field, and understand project management processes under the CRO cooperation model. 3. Core Competencies · Scientific Leadership: Deeply understand CRM disease mechanisms, accurately judge target potential, and balance innovation and development risks. · Project Management: Possess excellent project management capabilities to effectively manage the work of CRO institutions and ensure projects are completed on time with high quality. · Cross-departmental Collaboration and Communication: Ability to collaborate efficiently with chemistry, clinical, BD teams and CRO institutions. Good at communication and coordination to solve problems in cooperation. Fluent English: Capable of leading international academic discussions in the CRM field, writing IND application materials, and communicating smoothly with foreign CRO institutions.
