Work Style: Monday - Friday Position Summary Hankook Tire is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join our team in our Livonia Michigan Sales Office. The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for the business relationship between Hankook Tire and our key customers. The commercial account manager is the commercial liaison between the Hankook Tire OE customers and the internal Hankook sales, supply chain and corporate office teams. This position manages all aspects of that relationship by ensuring that transactions between Hankook Tire and the customer are consistent and communicated with a single voice. Key Responsibilities • Strategic business development within the organization with the ability to define and monitor action plans and report progress internally. • Present Hankook company capabilities to the customer purchasing, product planning, capacity, and sometimes engineering teams. • Deliver new project requirements to Hankook internal Sales and Technical teams. • Build strong relationships with customer contacts. • Receive and analyze customer RFQ documents and exchange rates. • Develop and implement plans to win new business and grow sales revenue. • Manage price changes for raw material price fluctuations. • Monitor market situations, competitor activities, customer requirements and trends to maintain and increase market share. • Responsible for weekly, monthly, yearly sales results. • Analyze and understand car and tire market commercial and technical trends. • Understand new project development schedules together with technical account managers and internal sales teams. • Work closely with the technical account manager to ensure orders and schedules are met for pre-production and prototype builds. • Coordinate and prepare for visits by internal or external customers. • Prepare for and conduct customer negotiations for annual supply contracts, product life cycles, and LTA framework agreements. Requirements • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent English language knowledge. • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or related disciplines. • Experienced in Automotive Sales Account Management within North American automotive market. • Skilled in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Power Point.
