Bachelor's in Architecture, extensive experience in design and construction administration, knowledge of building codes and sustainable practices, and proficiency with relevant software.

The Project Architect is a trained professional that supports the Development Team in the planning, design, and construction of various project types for the company. Major Responsibilities: • Support the Development team on multiple levels and across multiple categories of real estate with the ability to influence and follow projects from concept through construction administration. • Guide design work of third-party architects to align with Hankin’s aesthetic goals. • Review construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and quality. • Assist our construction division with RFIs, submittals, interpreting design documents and solving technical problems in the field. • Collaborate with other Hankin Group disciplines to agree on project parameters. • Assist with LEED coordination during design and administration during/after construction to obtain certifications. • Perform site inspections to review progress of various elements of civil & architectural work. • Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Master’s degree and/or professional license is preferred. • 8 or more years of experience with strong skills in design, documentation, and construction administration. • Knowledge of green/sustainable building practices. LEED certification(s) preferred. • Compensation will be based on applicant’s level of experience. • Technical skills and general abilities: • Display a well-rounded knowledge of architecture, structure, and MEP building systems such that he/she can read, interpret, and coordinate the work of various disciplines with a high degree of thoroughness. • Strong knowledge of building and accessibility codes (IBC, ANSI, etc). • Strong experience in construction administration. • Familiarity with building materials and detailing. • Familiarity with site planning and site civil design a plus. • Collaborative, team-oriented worker with a desire to learn. • Strong problem-solving abilities & leadership skills. • Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated. • Excellent computer skills including Bluebeam, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Suite, and MS Office Company Overview Hankin Group is a privately-owned full-service real estate development company located in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
