Hamilton Storage develops, produces and distributes robots for the storage of up to ten million compounds for pharmaceutical companies. We also build robots to store biological substances at temperatures up to -80 degree Celsius, which are used for biobanks in clinical research. How you can make a difference: The Field Service Engineer, identifies, analyzes, and repairs field product failures. The typical day consists of: • Troubleshoot mechanically, electronically down to component level and maintain large scale automated freezers. • Identification, analysis, and repair of product failures. Orders and replacements of parts as needed. • Independent planning, execution, and documentation of the work. • Research and answering customer questions about product features, issues, and upgrades. • Execute Customer Education via User Trainings. • Travelling the Nordics (system cluster is Oslo but we do have many systems spread across Norway and South Sweden). • Build professional, strong working relationships with customers and companies. That’s what you bring along: • A degree in technical engineering or an equal technical education • Preferably a background in the Life Science market • Professional experience in a similar position is an advantage • Accustomed to working independently • Customer-oriented and at the same time entrepreneurial thinking • You work reliably under time pressure, flexible and resilient • Fluent in written and spoken English and Norwegian The candidate shall preferably be based in the Oslo area to reach customers and an international airport in a short time. The position requires regular travel outside Oslo up to 40%. The focus is Scandinavia (Norway and Sweden). Other regions may be assigned based on business needs.
