Full Description

Hamel Builders, Inc. is looking for an experienced Project Manager for large-scale projects of $40-$60 million. This individual must possess the following competencies to succeed in this role: Execution, Decision-Making, Communication, Strategy Development, Team Management, Business Acumen, Technical Competence, Critical Thinking, and Leadership. Key Responsibilities: • Negotiates subcontractor and vendor agreements. • Provides timely and accurate written and verbal communications on the status of the Project to the Project team. • Prepares and monitors project schedules, RFIs, and submittals. • Performs site visits to monitor for quality and adherence to the project's schedule. • Manages the implementation of site safety plans. • Manages site personnel. • Monitors trade inspections. • Prepares and submits requisitions and change orders for approval. • Establishes schedule for finishes and final inspections with Owner and Architect. • Approves all subcontractor and vendor requests for payments after reviewing with Superintendent. • Reviews and approves accounting “Blue Book” with Superintendents. • Assembles project close-out documents. • Attends and is prepared for requisition and progress meetings. • Negotiates and vets subcontractor change order requests. • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Project Executive Salary commensurate with experience. • No phone calls and emails from recruiters or recruiting agencies!!! • *Construction experience is a must.
