We are seeking a Director of Communications to play a central role in shaping how our company tells its story as we continue our growth journey and brand evolution. This is a highly visible leadership position for a communications professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and storytelling. The Director of Communications reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for developing and delivering clear, compelling narratives across multiple channels while ensuring projects move efficiently from concept through completion. This role requires equal strength in project management and hands-on writing, along with the confidence to work directly with clients and senior executives. Key Responsibilities Communications Strategy and Leadership Partner with the VP of Marketing to develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that supports company growth, brand positioning, and business objectives Serve as a trusted communications advisor to company leadership and key stakeholders Ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external communications Content Development and Thought Leadership Lead the creation of high quality thought leadership content, including blogs, case studies, white papers, and executive bylines Write and edit press releases, contributed articles, website copy, and social media content Translate complex ideas and solutions into clear, compelling narratives tailored to B2B audiences Project Management and Execution Own and manage the communications and content calendar, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are aligned with business goals Lead projects from initial concept through review, approval, and publication Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to keep work on track and on brand Client and Executive Engagement Interface directly with clients to develop case studies, announcements, presentation materials, and other communications assets Collaborate closely with company executives to capture insights and perspectives for thought leadership and media opportunities Prepare executives for external communications, including press interactions and public facing content Media and Channel Management Support public relations efforts, including press announcements and media outreach Oversee social media messaging and content in alignment with broader communications goals Monitor performance and adjust messaging based on engagement and feedback Qualifications 8 plus years of experience in communications, content marketing, public relations, or a related field Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong portfolio of published work Experience working directly with senior executives and external clients Strong organizational and project management capabilities Comfort translating complex or technical topics into accessible, persuasive content Understanding of B2B marketing; experience in healthcare and technology is a strong plus Why This Role This role offers the opportunity to build and scale a communications function at a pivotal stage of company growth.
