This is a remote position. This is a position within Haldren and not with one of its clients.Based in New York, this role leads the Purchasing agenda for Haldren in United States. The position sets priorities, builds governance, and ensures predictable delivery across teams and partners. Success depends on strong stakeholder management, clear metrics, and disciplined execution.Key Responsibilities • Manage budgets, vendors, and external partners to meet targets and service levels. • Drive strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives. • Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology leaders to resolve blockers. • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with applicable standards and policies. • Define KPIs and cadence for reviews; report progress with actionable insights. • Set a clear strategy, operating model, and annual plan aligned to country priorities. • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, including succession planning. • Lead change management for major initiatives and process or system rollouts. Requirements • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including managing managers. • Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance management. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree is an advantage. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with senior internal partners. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with distributed teams. • Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and KPI-driven operating rhythms. • Proven ability to build strategy, translate it into execution plans, and deliver measurable outcomes.
