Full Description

As a Workday Systems Controls Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and evaluating internal controls within the Workday environment, including access controls, data integrity, system configurations, and change management processes. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., SOX), supports audits, and collaborates with Finance, HR, IT, and Security teams to maintain a secure and well-governed Workday platform. Ready to get in the driver’s seat? Join us! What you’ll do Design, implement, and monitor internal controls related to Workday modules (Finance, HCM, Prism, Accounting Center, Payroll, etc.). Ensure Workday configuration and processes align with company policies, SOX requirements, and audit best practices. Maintain and analyze security and access controls in Workday to ensure segregation of duties (SoD). Responsible for internal and external audit requests by providing required documentation, access logs, and control walkthroughs. Conduct periodic user access reviews, control assessments, and configuration audits within Workday. Assist with change management processes related to Workday updates, enhancements, and integrations. Coordinate with business units and IT to remediate identified risks, control deficiencies, or policy violations. Document processes, workflows, and control matrices related to Workday governance. Stay current on Workday system releases and assess potential control impacts. This might describe you Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience with Workday security, controls, or system administration. Knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit methodologies. Experience with access management, data integrity, and system configuration in Workday. Strong problem-solving and documentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interpret and enforce IT and business control policies across departments. Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Security, Workday Financials) are a plus. Certifications such as CISA, CIA, or related are a plus. Comfortable navigating conversations with individuals who hold differing viewpoints, and able to help find common ground in challenging or high-stakes situations. Other things to note This role can be worked from any U.S. remote location. Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
