As a Workday Prism Analyst, you will lead the ingestion, transformation, and management of financial data within Workday Prism Analytics. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.

As a Workday Prism Analyst, you will lead the ingestion, transformation, and management of financial data within Workday Prism Analytics to support accurate and efficient accounting processes. You will play a key role in enabling compliance with insurance accounting requirements by ensuring data integrity and scalability. You will collaborate closely with the Workday Accounting Center Manager, as well as data, integration and technology experts and external consultants to align data workflows with business and operational needs, driving continuous improvement and reliability across financial systems. Ready to get in the driver’s seat? Join us! What you’ll do Design, configure, and maintain Workday Prism datasets and pipelines to support enterprise reporting and analytics. Develop custom reports using Workday Report Writer, Composite Reporting, and Workday dashboards. Build and manage transformation logic to prepare data for use in Workday Accounting Center. Collaborate with the Accounting Center Manager to ensure transformed data supports accurate journal creation and aligns with accounting standards. Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Technology, and Data teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, auditable Workday Prism solutions. Ensure data quality, accuracy, security, traceability, and compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements through robust governance and validation processes. Troubleshoot reporting and data pipeline issues, driving root-cause analysis and resolution. Optimize data models, queries, and performance for efficiency and scalability. Document data flows, transformation rules, and governance processes. Monitor system performance and proactively resolve data integrity issues. Stay current on Workday Prism feature releases and analytics capabilities, applying new functionality to enhance reporting. This might describe you Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or related field. Proven experience with Workday reporting, including at least 2+ years with Workday Prism Analytics. Strong hands-on experience building Workday Prism datasets, pipelines, and transformations. Proficiency with Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, and dashboard creation. Solid understanding of Accounting processes and data structures. Strong background in data modeling, ETL, and data governance. Familiarity with SQL or other data query/manipulation languages. Ability to independently manage technical projects while collaborating across teams. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable navigating conversations with stakeholders holding differing viewpoints and finding common ground in high-stakes situations. Exposure to visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Experience integrating Workday Prism with external data sources. Experience with Workday Accounting Center a plus. Other things to note This role can be worked from any U.S. remote location. Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations.
