Product Owner – Credit Cards Contract: Full Time Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid) Salary Range: USD $120,000 – $175,000 annually Job Description: As a Product Owner at Barclays, you’ll play a key role in guiding the team’s progress and ensuring alignment with sprints and quarterly strategic goals. You will translate high-level business requirements into actionable features and collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of credit card product initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services, particularly in the launch and relaunch of credit card products, as well as a hands-on approach to managing workflows and dependencies in a fast-paced, agile environment. Key Responsibilities: • Guide sprint planning and oversee progress to align with strategic objectives. • Translate business and customer requirements into actionable tasks and product backlogs. • Coordinate with vendors and project teams to manage dependencies and resolve inquiries. • Drive delivery of credit card initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. • Oversee transaction lifecycle management and ensure issue resolution across systems. • Contribute to policy development, risk mitigation, and control governance initiatives. Qualifications: • Proven experience in financial services, particularly in credit card product launches/relaunches. • In-depth knowledge of TSYS or other customer-facing applications. • Strong understanding of credit card processing workflows and financial regulations. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities. • Knowledge of risk management, audit frameworks, and governance practices.
