The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing high-value client relationships and ensuring their satisfaction and growth. They serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, understanding their business needs, and developing strategies to expand the partnership. This role often requires a mix of sales acumen, consultative problem-solving skills, and industry knowledge to drive client success and revenue growth. This position will report to the Chief Commercial Officer. Key Responsibilities: · Client Relationship Management – Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction. Cultivate, Build, manage, and nurture long-term relationships with stakeholders, including executive-level contacts. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding the client's strategic objectives, business challenges, and goals. · Account Growth & Retention – Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and maximize client retention. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new services to clients. Conduct regular account reviews and business planning sessions to explore potential areas for growth. · Strategic Planning & Execution – Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Customer Success) to deliver solutions that meet clients’ unique needs. Oversee and coordinate account-specific projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Monitor and report on account performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. · Revenue & Forecasting – Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for each assigned account. Track and manage revenue forecasts, pipeline, and reporting for assigned accounts. Develop and present detailed revenue growth and account management strategies to stakeholders. · Client Advocacy & Support – Proactively address any client concerns or challenges, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Conduct regular feedback sessions and surveys to identify client needs and improve service delivery. Serve as an internal advocate for clients, driving enhancements and innovations to improve client experience. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA or relevant certification are a plus). · Proven experience (5+ years) in account management, client services, or strategic sales. · Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of client management principles. · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with executive stakeholders. · Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite. · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects effectively. · Client-focused with strong relationship management capabilities. · Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex client challenges. · High emotional intelligence and adept in negotiation and conflict resolution. · Excellent organizational and time management abilities. · Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. · Hybrid or remote work options may be available. · Occasional travel is required for client meetings and business reviews.
