Description • This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison. Salary: $115,000 - $135,000/year Work location: Hybrid, primarily remote with ad hoc on-site work, frequency TBD. This position serves as a Gunnison employee in support of a federal cybersecurity operations support contract. Join our exceptional group of cybersecurity pros! Duties And Responsibilities Include • Operate and manage data loss prevention tools, focusing on data in motion, at rest, and in use to protect sensitive data across multiple transmission avenues (M365, email, web, cloud). • Lead DLP implementations, serving as a technical point of contact for enterprise-scale deployments. • Integrate DLP solutions with SIEM platforms like Splunk for comprehensive monitoring and incident management. • Design, implement, and maintain DLP policies, along with incident workflows and governance processes. • Conduct risk assessments, policy tuning, and incident triage to ensure effective data protection in large environments. Requirements • 5+ years in cybersecurity or information security. • 3+ years of experience with DLP tools and technologies, managing large environments (10k+ endpoints/users). • Proven experience in integrating DLP solutions with SIEMs. • Advanced knowledge of DLP technologies and SIEM integration methodologies. Desired Qualifications • Experience supporting environments with 50k+ clients, showcasing strong DLP and data protection proficiency. • Advanced certifications such as CISSP or GIAC Security Essentials. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred. • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field. Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements. Gunnison's total compensation package also includes bonus and profit-sharing opportunities, depending on company and employee performance.
