Candidates should have over 10 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior-level role. Deep expertise in platform product management, payments, benefits, or enterprise SaaS is strongly preferred.

As a Principal Product Manager for Guild Grow, you will serve as a strategic and influential product leader for Guild’s premier product line. This role is central to Guild’s mission of expanding access to education and skilling benefits worldwide. You will orchestrate highly cross-functional initiatives, manage complex dependencies across multiple teams, and shape how employers and employees engage with education benefits globally. Reporting to a member of Guild’s product leadership team, you will be both strategist and executor—crafting vision, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring flawless execution at scale. You will influence organizational direction by synthesizing insights from executives, employer partners, learners, and the market. This role is remote, with regular travel to Denver and other locations as needed. Responsibilities Impact and Influence Shape Guild’s organizational strategy by establishing trusted relationships with executives, senior leaders, and key external partners. Synthesize diverse perspectives from internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to inform and influence strategic direction. Anticipate and navigate potential conflicts or resistance at the executive level, building alignment and momentum around shared goals. Create a culture of collaboration and influence by modeling effective relationship-building and communication practices. Product Strategy and Vision Define and articulate the long-term vision for the Professional Grow product, aligning with Guild’s mission and global expansion goals. Lead the development of quarterly product roadmaps across multiple product areas, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Drive complex discovery and solution design efforts that address multi-user and multi-team challenges. Use experimentation, testing, and data insights to sharpen product-market fit and inform strategy. Identify new opportunities that advance Guild’s long-term success and proactively act on them. Product Execution and Delivery Orchestrate execution across multiple product teams and initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term vision and objectives. Implement and refine systems for tracking dependencies, risks, and progress across the organization. Drive continuous improvement in product development and delivery processes. Oversee strategic resource allocation and team structure to optimize organizational effectiveness. Resolve critical execution challenges impacting multiple product areas or the broader organization. Technical Product Management Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple product areas and adjacent technologies. Engage in technical architecture discussions, guiding trade-off decisions to balance immediate needs with long-term scalability. Apply advanced data analysis techniques to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for innovation. Identify areas for technical optimization that enhance product performance, reliability, and scalability. Communication Demonstrate exceptional storytelling ability that inspires and mobilizes diverse audiences. Develop frameworks and practices that enable clear, consistent, and impactful communication across all organizational levels. Shape Guild’s organizational voice in product strategy and execution, internally and externally. Use advanced communication strategies to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and advance strategic objectives. Fostering Learning and Development Mentor and coach product managers and cross-functional leaders. Empower teams by encouraging risk-taking, experimentation, and peer learning. Build teams with complementary skills, fostering a culture of growth and self-directed development. Provide opportunities for team members to take ownership of their own learning while driving high performance. Qualifications 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a Principal, Group, or equivalent senior-level role. Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional, global initiatives. Deep expertise in platform product management, payments, benefits, or enterprise SaaS strongly preferred. Proven ability to define strategy and translate into executable roadmaps. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influence skills with executives and external partners. Track record of building scalable, compliant, customer-centric products. Strong technical fluency with ability to guide architectural discussions, data-driven decision-making, and trade-offs. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $161,300 - $236,600, variable compensation, and stock options.
