Job Family: Technology Consulting Travel Required: Up to 25% Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: We are seeking a Growth and Delivery Director to drive account growth and oversee delivery quality across the VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT). This leader owns the account plan and pipeline, shapes pursuits, forms winning teams across industry, and ensures delivery excellence. Account growth Own the VA OIT account plan – prioritize demand signals, build pipeline, and align pursuits to OIT priorities and buyer needs. Lead capture from early shaping through proposal and orals – build compelling value propositions, set win themes, run gate reviews, and drive pWin improvements. Design teaming strategies – recruit SDVOSB/VOSB partners and OEMs, coordinate NDAs and TAs, run black-hat/competitive analysis, and finalize roles and workshares. Navigate VA acquisition – shape procurements and target the right vehicles and approaches, including T4NG and other strategic pathways, with a strong grasp of FAR/VAAR and TAC practices. Partner ecosystem – cultivate relationships across industry to assemble high-performing, diverse teams that can scale and deliver. Delivery leadership Oversee a portfolio of projects – ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality are met, with crisp governance and risk management. Strengthen delivery discipline – enforce standards, dashboards, and reviews, and translate lessons learned into reusable assets and playbooks. Elevate client outcomes – measure value, improve CPARS, and drive continuous improvement across engagements. Talent – recruit, coach, and grow delivery leaders; align staffing with capture strategy; set expectations and recognize performance. Client engagement Build trusted relationships with OIT executives, PMOs, CORs, and technical leaders – understand priorities, map stakeholders, and keep a consistent call plan. Serve as a senior point of escalation – solve issues quickly, keep the client informed, and protect delivery momentum. Communicate clearly – keep leadership and partners aligned with concise updates and decisions. What You Will Need: 8+ years of overall work experience. Deep experience working with VA OIT – existing relationships with OIT leadership and program offices, and credibility with government stakeholders. Proven capture leadership – shaping opportunities, writing, and reviewing technical solutions, leading proposal volumes, and winning orals. Strong command of VA acquisition strategies – how VA buys, how TAC runs competitions, and how to tailor approaches to vehicles like T4NG and similar. Industry network – relationships across SDVOSB/VOSB partners, OEMs, ISVs, and system integrators to form effective, compliant teams. Delivery management – track record overseeing multi‑million portfolios with measurable results, governance, and risk controls. Excellent communication – concise storytelling, executive presence, and the ability to simplify complex topics for action. Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Must be willing and able to travel 25%. Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen. What Would Be Nice To Have: Experience across VHA, VBA, and OCTO – familiarity with mission priorities that shape OIT demand. Knowledge of VA program and delivery frameworks – examples include governance, performance management, and stakeholder/change management. Prior leadership roles at VA or on large VA OIT programs; PMP or capture certifications are a plus. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred. The annual salary range for this position is $226,000.00-$376,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
