Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a volunteer remote role for an Emergency Management Exercise Designer. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing emergency management exercises. The intern (unpaid volunteer position) will conduct research, create scenarios, draft exercise plans, and assist in the coordination and facilitation of these exercises. This role will also involve evaluating exercises and documenting lessons learned to improve future practices. Qualifications • Experience in Emergency Management, Crisis Management, or a related field • Research and Analytical skills • Scenario Planning and Exercise Development skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Project Management and Coordination skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking skills • Relevant certifications, such as FEMA's professional development series, are a plus • Pursuing or holding a degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Safety, or a related field is beneficial
