Role Description This is a fully remote, volunteer internship program for an Emergency Management Exercise Designer position located in the Northeast Region of the United States. We have multiple positions to fill for this specific volunteer internship program. The Emergency Management Exercise Designer will be responsible for planning, developing, and reforming emergency management exercises. Tasks include creating realistic exercise scenarios, conducting research, integrating with colleagues, and evaluating exercise process. The role also involves documentation, reporting, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications • Experience in emergency management, disaster response, and exercise design • Project management and organizational skills • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Capability to work with diverse teams and manage stakeholder relationships • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements • Attention to detail and analytical thinking • Ability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation • Background in public safety, emergency services, or related field • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Public Safety, or related field preferred
