We are currently seeking an Accounting Intern for our Financial Accounting department. This position is required to be onsite 5 days per week in our Glenview, IL office. This internship position would be a short-term employment opportunity for the summer of 2026. The goal of an internship in accounting is to apply knowledge acquired in the classroom to real-world situations, as well as gain the skills and experience that is necessary to prepare the student for a successful career in accounting. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Complete monthly bank reconciliations as assigned Assist in the monthly general closing process including journal entries and reporting package Complete General ledger account reconciliations as assigned Assist with booking and reporting of monthly reinsurance Perform annual reinsurance reviews Work on special accounting or financial reporting projects Complete other responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Demonstrate a comfort level in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities Must have excellent communication and organizational skills Needs strong attention to detail Strong Microsoft Office skills required - Word and Excel required The pay range provided is not a guarantee of compensation.
