Position Overview We're seeking a Product Marketing Manager with strong treasury and finance expertise to join our growing marketing team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between complex treasury processes and effective marketing messaging. You'll work closely with product teams, content creators, and sales to ensure our messaging accurately reflects the sophisticated financial operations our customers manage daily. Reporting Structure: Reports directly to Senior Director of Product Marketing Location: Remote Travel: Minimal (2-3 times annually for team meetings/company events) What You'll Do Core Responsibilities • Product Launch: Work with product, marketing, and sales teams to develop messaging and collateral for new product launches and integrated campaigns • Content Partnership: Work closely with our content team to ensure accurate representation of customer pain points, treasury processes, and financial operations for CFO and treasurer audiences • Website Content Management: Partner with the website team to maintain current, on-brand solution content that resonates with our target market • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the treasury subject matter expert across marketing initiatives including demand generation campaigns, event messaging, and sales enablement materials Strategic Impact • Accelerate Go-to-Market Velocity: Providing treasury expertise to the team for messaging validation, enabling faster campaign launches and product releases without compromising technical credibility • Elevate Message Resonance with Core Personas: Clearly tie product capabilities and CFO/treasurer pain points by translating complex treasury functionality into executive-level value propositions that drive pipeline and accelerate sales cycles • Strengthen Competitive Positioning: Leverage deep understanding of treasury operations to sharpen our differentiation against competitors, ensuring our messaging highlights where GTreasury truly excels in ways that matter to practitioners • Drive Campaign Effectiveness: Apply treasury domain knowledge to improve targeting, messaging, and content strategy for demand generation campaigns, resulting in higher-quality leads and improved conversion rates What We're Looking For Required Qualifications • Marketing Foundation: 2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or go-to-market roles. We're looking for familiarity with marketing fundamentals such as: • Developing messaging and positioning for products or solutions • Creating or contributing to content like case studies, solution briefs, web copy, or presentation decks • Supporting product launches, campaigns, or sales enablement initiatives • Collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, or other business teams • Understanding customer journeys and how to influence buying decisions • Treasury/Finance Background: Direct experience in treasury operations, financial processes, or related financial services roles. This is the foundation of the role - you must be able to speak credibly about cash forecasting, FX hedging, liquidity management, payments, and other core treasury functions from a practitioner's perspective. • Communication Skills: Strong ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives for different audiences - from technical practitioners to C-level executives Preferred Qualifications • Treasury Systems & Process Expertise: Direct experience with treasury management systems and/or treasury operations that gave you deep insight into how treasury technology solves real business problems. We're looking for someone who –experience from the corporate treasury side, the vendor/implementation side, or both. This can include: • End-user or power-user roles managing daily treasury operations • Implementation, configuration, or integration of TMS platforms • Business analyst, consultant, or advisory positions supporting treasury teams • Presales, solution engineering, or customer success roles • System selection, vendor evaluation, or RFP leadership • Building or refining cash forecasting models and processes • Managing FX exposure, hedging programs, or hedge accounting • Overseeing payment operations, bank connectivity, or SWIFT integration • What Matters: You understand treasury workflows from practical experience - whether you gained it managing treasury operations inside a company, implementing systems as a consultant, or helping customers as a vendor.
