This is a rare opportunity to join an early engineering team and play a defining role in the technical foundation and culture of a fast-growing technology company. What You'll Do • Design and build core backend systems including APIs, database architecture, infrastructure, and data pipelines. • Own features end-to-end—from requirement gathering and technical spec creation through deployment and iteration. • Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to shape technical decisions and long-term platform direction. • Work in a fast-moving environment that values experimentation, rapid release cycles, and constant learning. • Contribute to a platform designed to improve clinical workflows and enhance the healthcare experience for providers and patients. Nice-to-Have Experience • Experience with BaaS platforms like Supabase, Firebase, Railway, or Hasura. • Familiarity with AI-native coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code). • Exposure to healthcare systems (HIPAA, EPCS, PDMP, EHR/EMR workflows). • Basic front-end skills with React, TypeScript, or Next.js. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is competitive and based on experience and location. Total rewards may include base salary, performance incentives, benefits, and equity participation. Work Environment • Hybrid role based in Nashville, TN • High-impact engineering organization building mission-critical technology • Opportunity to shape architecture, engineering processes, and team culture from the earliest stages
