Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to join our growing team to help us grow. SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO SEE OUR MISSION COME TRUE SOMEONE WHO SUPPORTS US WE NEED STRONG SALES LEADERS TO HELP US TURN THE SUCCESS RATE OF OUR REMOTE SALES TEAM AROUND START DATE: 11/06/2025 & 11/10/2025 TRAINING PHASE ONE - UNPAID UP TO TWO WEEKS ( During this phase, there are some paid interval projects) E LEARNING, MEETINGS, PRESENTATIONS, TEAM PROJECTS PHASE TWO- PAID @ PAID RATE FORWARD UP TO TWO WEEKS FIRST PAY DATES DECEMBER 05TH - DECEMBER 15TH PAID SEMIMONTH FORWARD BEYOND FIRST PAYDATE Responsibilities • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling. • Lead and motivate sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals through coaching, training, and performance management. • Manage customer interactions with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through excellent service. • Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing potential team members and conducting employee orientation sessions. • Supervise shift management to ensure proper staffing levels, efficient merchandising, and effective store presentation. • Oversee inventory management processes including stock replenishment, stock rotation, merchandising, and pricing strategies. • Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and maintaining accurate sales records. • Implement marketing initiatives within the store to promote products and special offers while maintaining visual merchandising standards. • Ensure compliance with company policies on POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash handling procedures, and safety regulations. • Foster a team-oriented environment by providing ongoing training & development opportunities for staff and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. • Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments effectively. • Monitor retail math metrics such as sales per hour, average transaction value, and inventory turnover to optimize store performance. Requirements • Proven experience in management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively. • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable. • Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, customer service excellence, and employee orientation techniques. • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, sales procedures, and retail math principles. • Experience with purchasing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock control processes. • Ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently. • Knowledge of EVENT SALES, MEMBERSHIP SALES, WEBSITE SALES, FUNDRAISING, AND WEBSITE operations is a plus but not mandatory. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities. • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shift management responsibilities. • Technical skills including familiarity with payroll systems, budgeting tools, marketing initiatives, and administrative processes.
