Job Overview As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires a passion for the food, beverage ndustry and a commitment to providing an outstanding café experience for our customers. Responsibilities • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines. • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and responding to customer inquiries. • Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system (Aloha POS or Micros POS) effectively. • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. • Uphold high standards of food handling practices to ensure customer safety. Experience • Previous experience in food service or the café industry is preferred but not required. • Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. • Experience as a barista or in coffee preparation is advantageous. • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service to enhance the guest experience.
