Senior Settlement Operations Manager Position Summary: G.R.T. Financial is a dynamic and growing company that assists clients with their debt settlement programs. The Senior Manager, Settlement Optimization is accountable for protecting and accelerating the flow of settlements across the organization while serving as the central owner of Creditor Relations. This role will analyze trends, reduce revenue leakage, identify performance gaps, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure consistent and high-quality settlement execution. The Senior Manager partners closely with Settlement leadership, Back Office, QA, and executive leadership to identify breakdowns and drive fast, measurable improvements. This is a hands-on execution role with direct ownership of daily and monthly outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) Settlement Results and Pipeline • Monitor daily settlement pipeline performance and liquidation, from Ops to approval. • Identify and resolve bottlenecks by creditor, agent, workflow, process, or documentation • Recommend and implement fast operational fixes to protect monthly settlement goals • Monitor stalled files, declines, and missed settlement opportunities Trend Analysis • Analyze settlement declines, rework, escalations, and rejection trends • Convert data insights into tactical process changes, not static reporting settlement outcomes • Partner with QA to connect quality findings to settlement outcomes Creditor Relations • Build and maintain strong working relationships with creditor partners • Track creditor specific settlement trends and acceptance patterns • Escalate recurring issues and negotiate operational improvements • Maintain the “creditor playbook” outlining rules, preferences, risks, and best practices • Create and maintain a pipeline of creditor feedback to facilitate changes to scripts, workflows, and training priorities Process &Efficiency Optimization • Standardized high-impact workflows that repeatedly create errors • Partner with Back Office leadership to align procedures that allow for timely and accurate settlement completion and settlement payments Execution & Continuous Improvement • Lead short-term pilots and operational tests • Track impact, iterate quickly, and scale what works Core Competencies and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Demonstrated ability to identify patterns, diagnose root causes, and drive execution • Experience interfacing with external partners and vendors preferred • Strong operational judgement and ability to influence change without direct authority • Cross functional influence and high Emotional intelligence • Ability to follow through and maintain discipline Education/Experience: High School Diploma, BA preferred or equivalent experience and/or related training. 3-5 years in debt resolution, settlement operations, contact center operations preferred. Computer Skills: Computer skills needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job are as follows: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
