Full Description

.NET / Power Platform (Remote US. Open to W-2, 1099, or C2C.) Growth Acceleration Partners is hiring a SharePoint Solutions Architect to work directly with our client, a top-tier global private equity firm, serving as the enterprise authority for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions. You will work alongside PE operations leaders on high-stakes business transformations, architecting scalable automation frameworks that accelerate portfolio value. This is not a SharePoint Administrator role. This is not a Senior Developer role. This is a solutions architecture role with direct business impact and executive visibility. You will own how solutions are designed, how automation is governed, and how business teams leverage the Power Platform effectively and safely. What This Role Is NOT Not a developer position. Not an infrastructure or tenant administration role. Not a back-office technical contributor without business exposure. Not a mid-level implementer. Key Responsibilities This hire will establish the architectural foundation for how a world-class PE firm builds and governs automation at scale. There is long-term growth potential as automation demand expands across the portfolio, including the possibility of building out a broader Power Automate practice. Architecture & Solution Design • Own the end-to-end architecture of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions ensuring all solutions are scalable, secure, auditable, and maintainable. • Design custom SharePoint solutions using Power Automate (Logic Apps based) as the core automation engine. • Define solution patterns, governance models, and architectural standards. • Evaluate business requirements and determine when low-code, custom development, or hybrid approaches are appropriate. Power Automate & Automation Strategy • Serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise Power Automate best practices. • Architect complex flows with structured error handling, monitoring, performance standards, and audit controls. • Define flow design standards across the organization. • Partner with engineering teams to integrate Power Automate with custom .NET/C# services where the solution demands it. Business Enablement & Adoption • Act as a technical partner to business stakeholders, translating operational needs into clear automation opportunities. • Drive Power Automate adoption among citizen developers while enforcing guardrails that prevent ungoverned sprawl. • Create a best practices playbook, reference architectures, and a demo portfolio that shows the business what can be automated, how it should be built, and what should be avoided. • Educate stakeholders on automation capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs. Technical Leadership • Review solution designs and implementations for quality and architectural alignment. • Mentor developers and business power users on best practices. • Provide clear guidance and decision-making in ambiguous or complex scenarios. • Bring confidence, ownership, and authority to architectural discussions with both technical teams and executive stakeholders. What You Bring • You have operated as the go-to technical authority, not just a strong contributor. • Experience with PE portfolio ops, fund admin automation, or compliance heavy environments • You thrive explaining complex architecture to C-suite and enforcing governance without stifling innovation. • Strong executive presence and confidence. • High ownership mindset—comfortable being the “go-to” authority. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to balance enablement with governance. • Comfortable with challenging ideas and guiding teams toward better solutions. Technical Expertise • 7+ years in software engineering or enterprise application development. • At least 4 years designing and delivering SharePoint Online solutions in financial services, private equity, or regulated industries. • Proven solutions architecture experience, not limited to development or administration. • Deep expertise in SharePoint Online architecture and customization. • Strong hands-on experience designing enterprise Power Automate solutions. • Solid understanding of Azure Logic Apps as the foundation behind Power Automate. • Sufficient .NET/C# background to architect integrations and partner effectively with engineering teams. • Experience with Microsoft Graph API and REST integrations. • Strong grasp of governance, security, and compliance in enterprise environments. Nice to Have • Power Apps (Canvas or Model-driven). • Azure services (Functions, App Services, Key Vault). • Experience building automation enablement frameworks for business users. Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure). • About Growth Acceleration Partners Growth Acceleration Partners is a consulting and technology services company that provides custom software, data engineering and AI and Agentic transformation solutions for clients.
