Summary We are looking for a Senior MuleSoft Engineer to join our growing integration team and play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing MuleSoft solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for building robust integration architectures while collaborating directly with customer stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective, scalable solutions. This position combines deep technical expertise with strong client-facing and communication skills. You will work within a blended team structure — partnering closely with client engineers and GAP team members — to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with strategic integration goals. As our MuleSoft practice expands, this role offers the opportunity to influence standards, mentor new engineers, and help shape a rapidly growing area within GAP. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field. Professional Experience 5+ years of experience in integration engineering or API-driven development. 3+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Runtime Manager, API Manager). Experience working directly with enterprise customers to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide technical consultation. Soft Skills Advanced English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication. Strong customer acumen — able to translate technical concepts into business-focused discussions. Proven ability to work collaboratively in distributed teams and client environments. Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving integration challenges. Open to learning new technologies and contributing to team growth and standards. Required Technical Skills Expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform: designing, building, and deploying APIs and integrations. Experience with API-led connectivity, including System, Process, and Experience APIs. Proficiency in RAML, JSON, and XML for API specification and transformation. Solid understanding of integration patterns, error handling, and data mapping. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Mule applications using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid/on-premise deployments. Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning using tools such as Anypoint Monitoring, CloudHub, or Splunk. Understanding of security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and TLS for API integration. Nice to Have Skills MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4) or Integration Architect certification. Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, or legacy system integrations. Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to integration playbooks and reusable assets.
