The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating field teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize leak detection processes. Key Responsibilities • Manage and supervise leak survey field operations to ensure timely and accurate leak detection services. • Coordinate schedules, resources, and personnel to maximize operational efficiency. • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to leak survey activities. • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, and customer service to resolve operational issues. • Lead training and development initiatives for field staff to enhance skills and knowledge. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase productivity and reduce costs. • Manage vendor relationships and oversee equipment maintenance and procurement as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 5 years experience in operations management, preferably within leak detection, pipeline, or utility industries. • Strong knowledge of leak survey techniques, equipment, and safety standards. • Proven leadership and team management skills. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and operational management software. Work Environment This position requires occasional field visits to survey sites and may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions. The Operations Manager will primarily work from the Crown Point, IN office but must be flexible to support field operations as needed.
