The balance of power in the energy industry needs to change. The intermittency of renewable supply and the constant demands of the grid mean that we still rely on less efficient, more expensive and unsustainable fossil fuels to keep the lights on. At Gridfuse, our mission is to shift this balance through technology. To shift the balance of inputs, so that renewables become the world's main source of electricity. To shift the balance of the grid by building renewable power pools that can balance themselves in the face of unpredictability and intermittency.  It takes a unique team to meet this vision. You will join our Core team, which is responsible for providing central functionalities for the Gridfuse platform. It is a team of DevOps & System Engineers that designs the infrastructure and software to deliver and operate secure and reliable connection & control services. We are looking for colleague (m/f/d) to join us in Leipzig or remotely from Berlin (since part of the team is based in Berlin). • Join a flat-structured company with a team of Cloud Engineers and Kubernetes Experts • Work in a hybrid environment, ensuring smooth deployments, managing pipelines, and supporting application monitoring across both datacenter and cloud infrastructures • Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and updates • Ensure the stability and performance of essential infrastructure services like databases, IAM solutions and other base services • You are a self-starter and love to work in a fast-paced startup environment • Proven experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Kubernetes container orchestration • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes configurations to automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications • Skilled in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance, using tools such as ArgoCD, Gitlab and Terraform for automation • Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools to track application and infrastructure performance, ensuring quick detection and resolution of issues • Knowledgeable in supporting and maintaining critical infrastructure services like databases and identity management systems • Fluency in English, both written and spoken • A passion for automation and process improvement • Competitive hardware including a standing desk, 4K curved screen, and MacBook Pro  • City center office location including home office option  • Real startup culture by having an impact in a small, motivated team   Please submit your complete application including your salary expectations and earliest starting date.  After submitting an application our team will review this and get back to you within a couple of business days.
