Role Overview: As a Tax Manager at GRF CPAs & Advisors, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of client tax returns and communications. This position requires advanced technical expertise in tax and accounting, along with strong leadership and client management skills. What You'll Do: - You will review and manage the preparation of complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. - You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. - You will communicate effectively with clients to address tax-related inquiries and provide strategic tax planning advice. - You will lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their technical skills. - You will collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated financial solutions. - You will stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize client outcomes. - You will manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met. - You will contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for additional services. What You Bring: - You have a CPA license with at least 5 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in tax. - You possess advanced knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles. - You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - You are proficient with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You have experience managing teams and client relationships. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and businesses. - Familiarity with emerging tax technologies and automation tools. - A Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting. - Previous experience in a hybrid or remote work environment.
