Role Overview: As a Tax Manager at GRF CPAs & Advisors, you will play a critical role in overseeing the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and managing client communications effectively. What You'll Do: - You will review and manage the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns with precision and attention to detail. - You will ensure all tax filings comply with federal, state, and local regulations. - You will communicate complex tax issues clearly and professionally to clients. - You will lead and mentor junior staff, providing training and support to enhance their technical skills. - You will stay current with tax law changes and implement best practices within the team. - You will collaborate with other departments to provide integrated financial solutions. - You will manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of services. - You will contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for client growth. What You Bring: - You have a CPA license and at least 5 years of experience in tax preparation and management. - You possess advanced technical knowledge in individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation. - You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - You demonstrate excellent communication and client management abilities. - You are proficient with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You have experience working in a public accounting environment.
