JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Accounting Systems Analyst plays a key role in the implementation, enhancement, and support of systems and processes across a broad range of finance functions, including Financial Accounting, Budgeting, Accounts Payable/Receivable (AR/AP), Treasury, Internal Audit and Payroll. This role operates at the intersection of accounting, data, and technology, offering exposure to multiple teams and business processes. In addition to leading process improvements and supporting solution design, the analyst will also help maintain existing systems and workflows by identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing timely support. Key responsibilities include gathering and translating business requirements, assisting with testing and training, and recommending optimizations for the U.S. Property Management organization. This role is part of a collaborative Accounting Systems team that works closely with stakeholders across finance and technology. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise tools while contributing to tangible process improvements. JOB DESCRIPTION Coordinate and support the acquisition, design, testing, training, and ongoing maintenance of new systems, processes, and software, with a focus on using the Asana project management tool. Lead or assist in system updates, conversions, and rollouts by evaluating business needs and recommending practical solutions. Collaborate closely with end users to design and deliver impactful reporting solutions, with a focus on Power BI and related tools. Support and enhance the existing Power BI environment by troubleshooting issues and developing reports, dataflows, and semantic models. Perform data analysis and reconcile discrepancies between systems and processes as needed. Contribute to all phases of system enhancement efforts, including requirements gathering, functional and process design, testing, training, and change management. Identify, evaluate, and implement business process improvements by developing detailed workflow diagrams, charts, and project plans from concept through execution. Other Responsibilities: Provide support on financial and administrative tasks, including reporting and ad hoc analysis. Perform other duties as assigned or necessary. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field Strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced) Experience gathering business requirements and designing processes in a corporate or enterprise setting Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analysis (certification or practical experience) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with one or more of the following systems: -ERP Systems: Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) or E-Business Suite (EBS), or similar enterprise financial platforms -Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, Databricks, or other business intelligence platforms -Budgeting: Vena, Anaplan, or similar enterprise budgeting and planning tools -Project Management: Asana or equivalent tools -CRM: Salesforce or other customer relationship management platforms -Scripting/Querying: SQL, Python, or comparable languages or querying tools CPA or similar certification Experience in real estate, property management, or private equity environments #LI-TR1 The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 Additional Compensation: Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location. Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance. Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
