Mechanical Maintenance – Multiple Shifts Location: Jackson, MS 39212 Pay: $22–$25/hr (Contract) We’re hiring an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician / Mechanic-in-Training to support daily maintenance at a Water Treatment Plant. This is a great opportunity for anyone with mechanical ability, hands-on experience, or a background in maintenance, repair, or equipment work. What You’ll Do • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment • Work on pumps, motors, valves, engines, and facility systems • Lubricate equipment and check for issues • Replace pump packing, bearings, seals, and other components • Tune small engines and adjust regulators • Inspect equipment failures and help prevent future breakdowns • Assist with installing and setting up new equipment • Support general facility upkeep: buildings, structures, and grounds What We’re Looking For • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on maintenance experience • Ability to use basic tools and follow safety procedures • Comfortable working around industrial equipment • Willing to learn water/wastewater systems (training provided) • Reliable and able to work assigned shifts • Interviewing for Multiple Shifts – please note preference w/ application Company DescriptionWhy Join · Collaborative, experienced engineering team. · Competitive salary & full benefits. · Opportunity to deliver impactful next-generation products.
