Medical Assistant – Greenfield Medical Center Greenfield Medical Center is a busy primary care practice that serves a large and diverse patient population. We are looking for a reliable and organized Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast paced environment, able to work directly with the physician, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Position Summary The Medical Assistant will support the physician during daily clinical operations, assist with patient flow, perform diagnostic testing, and ensure that each patient receives efficient and respectful care. Key Responsibilities • Take and record patient vital signs • Obtain complete and accurate medical histories • Prepare patients for examinations and diagnostic tests • Assist the physician during clinical examinations • Explain procedures and instructions to patients • Maintain sterile technique and prepare instruments • Remove sutures and provide basic wound care • Call prescriptions into pharmacies as directed • Prepare patients for X ray studies • Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests and ECGs • Administer medications as ordered, including oral, topical, and intramuscular • Maintain exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked • Support front office tasks as needed to maintain smooth patient flow Qualifications • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred • Training in clinical testing such as ECG and PFT preferred • Experience in a primary care or outpatient setting is helpful • Ability to multitask and stay organized during high volume clinic days • Strong communication skills and a patient centered approach • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Schedule This is a full time position with regular day shift hours. Occasional extended hours may occur during high volume days. Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience. How to Apply Submit a resume through Indeed.
