The Medical Experience Specialist will execute vision and planning efforts to improve market-level Medical Patient Acquisition results and assist in facilitating medical services for patients. They will also produce reports, draft communications, and manage cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on Medical Experience initiatives.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience, along with technical proficiency in MS Office and strong organizational skills. Experience in medical cannabis or healthcare administration is preferred, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Role The Omni-Channel Operations Team manages the end-to-end experience throughout all functions of the Retail Experience. This team is equally focused on improving all Omni-Channel objectives in the field as we look to rollout new initiatives and objectives across the organization by making data-driven recommendations for improvement that translate into a greater cannabis consumer experience. We’re looking for a proven cannabis advocate and individual contributor to help grow and scale this teams’ objectives and assist our Medical Experience team. This is a demanding position requiring talent, strategic thinking, vision, and a people operations mindset to dive deep into our Medical Experience opportunities throughout many diverse markets in the organization. Ideal candidates will drive projects to improve the in-store and online medical experience and educate both RISE team members and consumers alike on each market’s medical program. Responsibilities Medical Patient Acquisition Responsibilities: Execute vision and planning efforts to improve market level Medical Patient Acquisition results (New Patient Growth). Assist in the facilitation of medical services offered to medical patients by RISE, including but not limited to scheduling patients for consultations, managing schedules and calendars of healthcare providers, and contacting patients as needed about services. Produce and update various daily and weekly reports related to Medical Experience programs. Draft and distribute regular monthly messages and fliers to retail field teams about upcoming patient drives and certification deals. Assist in the execution of project plans developed by Medical Experience program managers. Schedule and conduct cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on Medical Experience initiatives. Create and distribute meeting agendas and post-call notes and action items. Follow-up internally with stakeholders on cross-functional project tasks and report out on statuses as needed. At the direction of management, work with GTI’s revenue and marketing teams to develop deeper customer education and brand strategies that lead to greater a greater retail experience for medical patients and prospective medical patients. Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of GTI. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study, or 5+ years equivalent work experience Technical proficiency in MS Office, excellent communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills. Data entry and analysis skills, including knowledge of Excel and reporting systems such as Tableau. A passion for plant-based alternative therapies. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Customer service experience and skills. Ability to pass a background check. Project management experience preferred. Prior experience in medical cannabis or healthcare administration is preferred. Additional Requirements Must pass any and all required background checks Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry Must possess valid driver’s license Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance. Green Thumb Pay Range $20—$30 USD
