Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing landscaping projects from initial estimation through completion, ensuring accurate cost projects, effective project execution, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong landscaping estimating expertise, project management capabilities, and experience working on landscaping sites. This position offers an opportunity to lead diverse landscaping projects while utilizing advanced estimating tools and techniques. Responsibilities • Prepare detailed project estimates using tools such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software, ensuring accuracy in pricing and scope. • Develop accurate pricing strategies and proposals aligned with client needs and project scope. • Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and ensure project profitability. • Manage multiple landscaping projects simultaneously, overseeing scheduling, resource allocation, and budget adherence. • Oversee all phases of landscaping projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. • Manage landscaping activities on-site, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work progresses according to schedule. • Monitor project costs closely to maintain profitability through effective cost control and budget management. • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on design options and project scope. • Oversee contract administration, including change orders, and other project documentation compliance. Requirements • Proven experience (5+ years) in landscaping estimating, installation and design. • Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating or project management software. • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. • Strong knowledge of materials, labor and job costing. • Familiarity with contracts, project management principles, cost control strategies, and pricing methodologies. • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents accurately. • Landscaping site experience is highly preferred to understand on-the-ground challenges effectively. • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee complex projects from inception to completion. This position is integral to our company's success in delivering high-quality landscaping solutions while maintaining efficient operations through expert estimation and project management skills.
