Position Summary We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Reconstruction Project Manager to support the planning and execution of property restoration and reconstruction projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Reconstruction Project Manager to coordinate teams, track project progress, and ensure job site efficiency and safety. Core Responsibilities • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of residential and commercial reconstruction projects • Support the coordination of subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and inspectors to keep projects moving efficiently • Monitor job schedules, material deliveries, and work progress to ensure timely completion • Conduct site walks to verify safety compliance, workmanship quality, and adherence to plans and specifications • Help maintain accurate project records including permits, contracts, material orders, and daily logs • Communicate professionally with property owners, team members, and insurance contacts • Participate in job site meetings and assist with daily crew check-ins and job debriefings • Support preparation of estimates and scope reviews using tools like Xactimate and DASH when needed • Flag potential issues or delays and collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve them quickly Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is a plus • 1+ year of experience in construction, remodeling, or restoration work (project coordination experience a plus) • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with cloud-based tools a plus • Familiarity with construction estimating software (Xactimate, XactAnalysis, DASH) preferred but not required • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Ability to pass a background and drug screening as required Work Conditions and Physical Demands • Work may be performed outdoors or in partially restored structures exposed to weather, noise, and debris • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs • Driving between project sites required
