Create a marketing strategy and implementation plan for a composting-education game to support fundraising and outreach efforts.
The role requires skills in marketing strategy, campaign development, outreach, and campaign metrics, with no specific experience or certifications required.
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Create a practical marketing strategy and short implementation plan for a composting-education game sold to raise funds. Deliverables include target audience recommendations, positioning and key messages linking fundraising and education, channel recommendations, a launch timeline, basic metrics, and a brief campaign outline. Specifics will be provided during volunteer interviews. Volunteers will help Green Camps raise funds and expand outreach education by promoting a game that teaches composting in an engaging way. This supports our mission to inspire and develop the next generation of environmental leaders, model sustainable living, and broaden access to hands-on environmental learning. Details will be provided. We will share product information, fundraising goals, and any existing branding or assets during onboarding. Our team will be available for regular check-ins, provide timely feedback, and commit to using the volunteer’s plan to coordinate outreach and sales efforts. Green Camps Mission: Green Camps believes in the camp community’s extraordinary ability to inspire and develop the next generation of environmental leaders. This is accomplished through engaging outreach education, research, and the creation of the camp industry’s first green certification program. Camp environments are uniquely positioned to model what sustainable living can look like at home while helping young people build an appreciation for nature and reimagine sustainable lifestyles.
