Job DetailsJob Location: NEW YORK HEADQUARTERS - NEW YORK, NY 10118Job Category: Entry LevelPosition Summary: The State Filing & Product Development Intern supports the State Filing and Product Development team by assisting with regulatory research, bureau circular tracking, filing preparation activities, and general administrative support. This role provides exposure to commercial insurance products, regulatory compliance, and the insurance product lifecycle, while helping compile information and prepare materials used for state filings and internal product initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and log bureau alerts and circulars across all lines of business. Assist with reviewing and reconciling bureau notifications and regulatory updates. Gather and organize forms, rules, and supporting materials to support filing submissions. Conduct research on historical filings, forms, and rules for product lines. Assist with internal documentation and reference updates. Support project work and product development initiatives assigned. Perform administrative and technical support tasks as needed. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required. QualificationsEducation and Experience: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (Business, Risk Management, Economics, Finance, Analytics, or related field preferred). Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, with the ability to follow directions. The salary range for this role is $16.50/hr - $30/hr. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs. Base pay is just one component of GNY’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
