About the Role We are seeking an experienced Liebherr Material Handler – Field Service Technician to join our elite product support team. This position is designed for a highly skilled technician with deep expertise in Liebherr material handlers, hydraulic systems, and electronic diagnostics who takes pride in representing a world-class dealership and delivering precision service in the field. You will be the frontline expert for Liebherr material handler support—diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing performance of heavy equipment at customer sites across your assigned territory. Your role is critical to ensuring uptime, maintaining warranty integrity, and driving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Perform advanced diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on Liebherr material handlers (C-Model / LH series and similar models). • Lead field troubleshooting for hydraulic, electrical, and control systems, including CANBUS diagnostics. • Support warranty repairs, campaign completions, and product updates in collaboration with the Warranty and Product Support teams. • Conduct technical inspections, field reports, and performance testing in accordance with factory specifications. • Provide operator and customer training on best practices, maintenance, and safety. • Maintain detailed service documentation through our internal ticketing and telematics systems. • Partner with the Product Support Manager, ROMs, and OEM representatives to continuously improve product reliability and service efficiency. Qualifications • Minimum 5+ years of experience working on heavy equipment; Liebherr or material handler experience required. • Proven expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical repair. • Strong understanding of diagnostic software. • Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills. • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Willingness to travel regionally for field calls, training, and factory support. Preferred Attributes • Liebherr factory training or certification (Material Handlers / Excavators). • Experience with Material Handlers, Gen Mag Systems, and hydraulic attachments. • Passion for precision work, continuous learning, and customer satisfaction. • Leadership qualities—able to mentor junior technicians and represent the dealership professionally in all customer interactions.
