Join our team as a Pro Shop Golf Manager and help create an exceptional shopping experience for our members and guests. Great Oaks Country Club, founded in 1971 in the heart of Rochester, MI, is a member-owned private club offering premier golf, swimming, and tennis facilities. We’re seeking a motivated professional with a passion for retail and golf who can take ownership of our pro-shop operations and lead with enthusiasm. Responsibilities • Private club experience is preferred but not required • Oversee all pro shop merchandise operations, including purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relations • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper controls are in place · • * Assist in the management of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders, including ordering and receiving procedures • Build enthusiasm within the store and provide a high level of service to members and guests • Design and maintain attractive merchandise displays and seasonal layouts • Track sales and identify trends to maximize profitability • Assist with promotions, events, and member engagement activities • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of retail management experience required • PGA/LPGA Member in good standing or registered PGA apprentice preferred • Strong computer and social media skills (Club Essential Software, Golf Genius, Excel, and Word) • Strong accountability and attention to detail, especially in inventory control • Merchandise knowledge preferred, especially golf merchandise and apparel • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills • Ability to work any hours the store is open, including weekends and holidays during the golf season Compensation & Benefits • Competitive pay based on Experience • Merchandise discount • Vacation: 2 weeks • Health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with company match • Performance bonuses throughout the year and at year-end • Paid improvement seminars and professional development • Complimentary meals during shifts • Supportive, team-oriented environment in a beautiful golf setting Apply today by sending your resume to employment@greatoakscc.com.
