Compensation $144,425.97 - $218,732.41 (Based on Experience) Summary Lead the strategic direction and operational execution of the Project Management Office (PMO), including Business Analysis functions. Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects and initiatives, overseeing project portfolio management, and aligning IT strategy with organizational goals. Supervise the PMO Manager, business analysis and other IT professional staff, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across both teams. Job Responsibilities • Provide leadership and strategic oversight to the Project Management and Business Analysis teams • Ensure successful execution of IT projects and initiatives through effective governance, resource management, and performance monitoring • Oversee the development and maintenance of project portfolio management processes, tools, and reporting • Lead IT strategic planning efforts in collaboration with executive leadership and business stakeholders • Align project and analysis activities with organizational priorities and IT capabilities • Establish and maintain standards, methodologies, and best practices for project management and business analysis • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of project delivery and business analysis outcomes • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement Required Education and Experience At the time of application, applicant must: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with significant course work in information systems, information technology, computer science or related field • A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible IT project management, program management, portfolio management or IT strategic planning • Equivalent combination of formal education, certifications and appropriate related experience may be considered at the discretion of the Chief Information Officer PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Master’s degree in a related field or PMP/CBAP certification • Experience working in state or local government or other regulated industries OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Valid Driver’s License ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
