Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting expertise to ensure optimal operation of plant equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement, supporting our commitment to manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency. Duties • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical components. • Troubleshoot and repair machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. • Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software for work orders, maintenance tracking, and documentation. • Conduct welding operations using welding techniques as needed for repairs or modifications. • Work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely, adhering to all safety protocols. • Use field service equipment like scissor lifts for access to elevated or hard-to-reach areas. • Assist in the installation, upgrade, or replacement of plant machinery and systems. • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety standards related to industrial mechanics and electrical work. • Support customer service initiatives by ensuring minimal downtime of production equipment. Requirements • Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment. • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanic roles or related fields such as HVAC, HVAC/R, or welding. • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, schematics, and technical manuals. • Electrical experience including working with high voltage and low voltage systems; ability to use ammeters and ohmmeters effectively. • Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; valid certification preferred. • Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently. • Experience with hydraulic systems, precision measuring instruments, and industrial electrician practices. • Knowledge of field service operations is a plus. • Effective communication skills in English; customer service orientation is desirable. • Industrial electrician experience or military background in technical roles is advantageous.
