Senior Technical Sales Business Development Manager - Industrial Equipment & ASME Vessels Join a century-old industry leader seeking an experienced Technical Sales Business Development Manager to drive growth in our pressure vessel and tank components division. This remote position offers an excellent blend of new business development and relationship management, with the backing of a stable, growing organization. Position Overview As Business Development Manager, you'll leverage your technical sales expertise to expand our market presence across the United States, focusing on high-value industrial equipment sales within critical sectors including cryogenic, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries. Core Responsibilities • Drive new customer acquisition and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company profitability goals • Manage customer relationships across multiple industrial sectors • Collaborate with inside sales team on quotations and deal closures • Maintain detailed CRM records and provide market intelligence • Travel approximately 60% of time for customer-facing activities Required Qualifications • 4-20 years technical sales experience, minimum 5 years preferred in capital process equipment • Direct experience with pressure vessels, tank heads, or ASME-coded equipment • Strong technical knowledge of industrial metal fabrication • Bachelor's degree preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems • US Citizenship or Green Card required Compensation & Benefits • Base Salary: $80,000-$100,000 • Performance Bonus: Up to 25% of base salary • Company-provided laptop and phone stipend • Vehicle allowance and travel expense coverage • Comprehensive benefits package Why This Is a Great Opportunity Join a respected company with a 100-year legacy of excellence in industrial manufacturing.
