We are seeking a results driven Technical Product Manager to join one of our product delivery teams. This role will partner closely with key members of our business unit as well as our delivery teams to drive alignment on solutions that are valuable, usable, and feasible. This will be a hybrid role based out of Cincinnati, OH. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Ultimately accountable for partnering with the Delivery Leader on the delivery and product operations of one or more product teams Leads collaboration with stakeholders to gather and refine objectives, outcomes, and overall delivery direction Partners with both business and delivery stakeholders to translate complex business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories. May be responsible for the performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports. Performs other duties as assigned. Execution Coordinates across roles and teams to resolve blockers and delivery conflicts Partners with business partners to ensure backlog is refined, sustainable, and actionable by delivery team (meets team methodology needs) Partners with delivery team to facilitate team ceremonies (standup, planning, retro, etc.) Ensures cross-functional collaboration and decision making (Balanced Team) Strategy and Collaboration Serves as the face of the product on the IT side - Primary escalation and communication point to the product team Partners with business and IT stakeholders to define and refine product level vision, objectives, and strategies Partners with business stakeholders on further defining OKRs and overall success metrics for the product Partners with Delivery Leader to monitor and ensure product performance (e.g. KPIs & Key Results) meets expected results Accountable for ensuring Product Delivery team understands objectives and success criteria Partners with Tech Leads, Anchors, and UX to create delivery options to meet business objectives Partners with Delivery Leader on team needs, pain points, risks, and opportunities Targets LEAN product principles (Lean teams, iterations, stories, releases) Skills & Competencies Leadership Product Mindset Collaboration & Teamwork Communication Drives for Results Customer Focus Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Generally, a minimum of 6 years of related experience that includes experience in Technical Product Management. Certification in Lean methodologies preferred, with a strong understanding of product development and development framework -- ideally Extreme Programming or Scrum. Scope of Job/Qualifications: Performs product management for complex products and may have product management duties for multiple teams. Instills Product Mindset with a balanced team approach by breaking down complex problems into simple solutions focused on important customer needs. Exhibits advanced analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive problem solving and decision-making. May own product strategy and execution, ensuring alignment between customer needs, business goals, and technology capabilities. May participate in making recommendations for best practices and introducing new techniques/tools to the product management team. Exhibits advanced business knowledge and the ability to identify and define business needs including an understanding of the organization's business and technology operations. Demonstrates strong customer focus by being responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate in work approach. Viewed as a senior resource on the team.
