Granite State Manufacturing (GSM) is a small business contract manufacturer providing complete in-house capabilities, including machining, US Navy-certified welding, wiring, assembly, and testing. GSM-built equipment is on every US Navy submarine. From prototype to production runs, GSM has the technical depth, program management, and manufacturing expertise to deliver performance-critical solutions. GSM has 5-axis machining up to 33ft long or 82in diameter and welding up to 35,000lbs. About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Virtual Tele Chat Agent to join our Administrative team. In this full-time, hourly role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers via text and chat platforms, delivering exceptional assistance while resolving inquiries efficiently. If you are fluent in English, possess outstanding communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced virtual environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. What You'll Do • Provide prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries through chat and text message platforms. • Assist customers with product or service-related questions, troubleshooting, and issues in a professional manner. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer problems and deliver solutions quickly. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions using designated tools and systems. • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and contribute feedback for process improvements. • Meet or exceed performance goals, including response times, resolution times, and customer satisfaction metrics. • Stay updated on company products, services, and policies to deliver accurate and current information to customers. Qualifications • Fluency in English, with excellent written communication and comprehension skills. • Previous experience in customer service, chat support, or a related role is preferred. • Proficiency in using chat tools, CRM software, or similar systems. • Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple conversations simultaneously with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and focus. • Availability to work full-time, including occasional weekends or holidays as needed by the team schedule. • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude. MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATE OF AMERICA The Pay Range For This Role Is 20 - 33 USD per hour(Remote (Lawrence, Kansas, US))
