Description Customer Service / Sales Associate (Residential Construction, Granite Countertop Fabrication) Solon, OH Inside Sales / Customer Service Associate manages the needs of our clients on a day-to-day basis. Account management, customer communication, customer education, showroom management teaming, handling customer warehouse material selection visits, job estimating, and job coordination are the main functions of the Inside Sales / Customer Service Associate. Excellent inter-department communication and coordination is very important to the success of the role. Essential Job Functions: • Maintain knowledge of Granex Industries products and services to ensure reliable customer communication and interaction. • Generate quotes for fabricated stone projects based upon layouts and/or drawings as submitted. • Practice all necessary functions for successful account management. • Follow up on proposals via phone and email. • Coordinate jobs from start to finish. • Perform various office support tasks as needed including, but not limited to, answering incoming calls and handling customer visits. • Assist in other work areas as needed and directed. • Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements Essential Job Skills and Abilities: • Minimum of two years of experience working in an office environment • High School Diploma or GED • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced showroom environment • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with the Internet and MS Suite • Superior organizational, record keeping and time management skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly and follow directions • Some construction and / or kitchen design knowledge preferred • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Granex Industries products • Ability to work from specific verbal or written instructions and standard operating practices • Ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team
