Manager of Client Operations – (Remote/Work From Home) Role Summary Grade Potential is the nation’s largest provider of in-home tutoring services, with over 20 years of experience supporting students and families nationwide. The Operations Manager plays a key role in connecting students with the right tutors while ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role blends client service, operations, and a selling and recruitment mindset. Successful candidates are highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment. Performance is measured through placements, client satisfaction, tutor acquisition, and regional growth. You are: • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Calm, professional, and empathetic when handling challenges • Able to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and changing needs • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced service environment • Motivated by goals and outcomes with a selling and recruitment mindset • A collaborative team player who values communication and improvement What You Will Do • Match students with tutors based on academic needs and client preferences • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive communication and support • Manage active tutoring engagements to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery • Actively support new tutor acquisition to meet regional and subject demand • Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems • Resolve scheduling issues and service concerns with professionalism and empathy • Monitor performance metrics related to placements, satisfaction, retention, and tutor supply • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture How We Measure Success • Number and quality of student-tutor placements • Client satisfaction rating • New tutor acquisition and activation • Monthly regional growth and gross profit contribution • Client retention and tutor quality Tools & Systems • Proprietary in-house CRM (training provided) • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Meet) • Multi-Channel Communication -VoIP phone and text platforms • Internal ticketing and scheduling tools Work Environment This remote role requires regular use of a computer and phone for extended periods. The position operates in a multi-monitor workstation environment (typically three monitors) and involves frequent switching between systems, screens, and applications to manage client, tutor, and scheduling information in real time. Team members must be comfortable working in a high-volume, multi-screen setting that requires sustained focus, multitasking, and the ability to quickly interpret and act on information from multiple sources while engaging with clients and tutors. Compensation $45,000–$70,000 annually (estimated total compensation). This is a full-time hourly position with monthly performance-based compensation tied to measurable production outcomes.
