Overview Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for fueling infrastructure and project management? Join our team as a Petroleum Equipment Project Manager! The Petroleum Equipment Project Manager directs and coordinates activities of contractors, professional service companies, as well as GPM resources engaged in installation, repair, maintenance, and construction of UST systems, dispensers, canopies, ATG’s and other fuel related equipment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Salaray range $85,000-$95,000 based on experience Responsibilities Develop plans and define scopes for all petroleum equipment projects in assigned geographical area. Understand and execute compliance project scope related to the enforcement of rules and regulations governing UST compliance and petroleum equipment project permitting. Liaison, as needed, with state, county, and local regulatory municipalities related to petroleum equipment projects and compliance. Budget, manage, and communicate all projects to stakeholders Track project performance to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget. Lead cross-departmental project teams and manage all activities in a project life cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling, and closing) for projects that are across multiple departments or associated with process improvement. Develop and revise project plans including timelines, issues, resources, and dependencies in collaboration with project sponsors and cross departmental. Actively manage the mitigation of issues; re-allocate resources to minimize down-time and expedite project completion. Manage risk to avoid delays or reputational damage. Develop communication plans and communicate appropriate levels of information (status, issues, risks, decisions) to project sponsors and senior staff. Facilitate decision making with project team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization related to project performance, including, but not limited to schedule, scope, budget, and resources. Train, Coach, Mentor, Develop: Assist in the development of project management curriculum to create competency at GPM Investments. Deliver petroleum equipment education to associates Coach and mentor associates on their projects and in their departments. Act as a liaison within and between departments on petroleum equipment project management and best practices. Qualifications Experience in the installation and maintenance of Petroleum Equipment. Preferred BS in Engineering or like sciences related to Petroleum Equipment and Project Management. Knowledge of Petroleum Equipment as related Mechanical & Electrical design and installation is preferred. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Smartsheet, Microsoft Project). Experience reading engineer drawings generated by AutoCAD or other widely accepted drafting programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced math skills related to load calculations, financial budgeting with demonstrations of typical Petroleum Equipment Project and Construction math. 4-year degree or comparable knowledge in sciences applicable to Petroleum Equipment, Construction Project Management, or like skill. Additional requirements: Willingness to travel to various project sites as required. Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
