Project Manager – Commercial Construction About the Company One of the region’s most respected General Contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. Position Overview The Project Manager provides overall leadership and accountability for the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This role requires strong communication, clear direction-setting, and a focus on building lasting client relationships. You will work closely with the executive team to align with strategic objectives and drive growth. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with Estimating during the preconstruction phase • Interpret construction plans and specifications accurately • Mentor and guide junior project management staff • Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to secure future opportunities • Oversee subcontractor and vendor procurement, including buyout, scope review, contract writing, and insurance/bonding compliance • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions for drawing interpretation issues • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, owner billings, timesheets, and monthly reports • Ensure timely and accurate owner billings and subcontractor invoices • Prepare monthly cost projections and forecasts for project completion • Oversee project schedules and provide progress updates Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience/certifications) • 7+ years of experience managing ground up diverse commercial or projects • Strong knowledge of building systems and construction methods • Proven financial management skills and ability to manage projects independently from start to finish • Looking for someone to hit the ground running.
