Drive the future of pet health through innovation. Gpac is seeking a Product Development Manager for a client that is an innovative and fast-growing leader in collagen-based pet products. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of new products, from concept through commercialization, with a strong focus on collagen-based formulations, functional ingredients, and pet health applications. You'll partner closely with R&D, operations, quality, and marketing teams to ensure successful and timely product launches. This is a high-visibility role that directly influences product innovation in a rapidly expanding segment of the pet industry. Background & Experience • 3-7 years of experience in product development, R&D, or formulation within pet food, food & beverage, or CPG • Bachelor's, M.S. or Ph.D. in Food Science, Chemistry, Animal Science, or a related field • Direct experience working with collagen, gelatin, or protein-based systems strongly preferred • Hands-on experience with ingredient functionality, raw material handling, and processing techniques • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as extrusion, drying, molding, or thermal processing • Experience scaling products from bench to pilot to commercial production • Strong understanding of GMPs, SOPs, and regulatory/compliance standards • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and project management skills • Comfortable presenting, collaborating across teams, and occasional travel Why join This Company? • Work on innovative collagen-based pet products in one of the fastest-growing categories within the pet industry. • Make a direct impact on products that improve pet health and wellness. • Join an established company with over 30 years of industry success and continued growth. • Collaborate with a talented, innovation-driven team. • Remote position with approximately 10-25% travel.
