A very well respected mechanical contractor is looking for a motivated individual to bring their mechanical experience to a growing dynamic team as a Mechanical Project Manager. This company specilizes in Industrial Piping/plumbing, HVAC and Sheet metal. Ideally, they are looking for someone who enjoys working on a team, has a good attitude and a willingness to work hard. This involves planning, organizing, and coordinating activities related to mechanical design, construction, installation, and commissioning. Specific job duties may include: • Project Planning: Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets in accordance with customer requirements and company standards. • Resource Allocation: Coordinating the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that project deadlines are met. • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with the project, such as safety hazards, cost overruns, and delays. • Communication: Communicating project progress and status to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members. • Quality Control: Ensuring that all work performed meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. • Project Documentation: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports. • Team Management: Leading and motivating a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to achieve project goals and objectives. • Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
