Environmental Project Manager Location: Michigan (Hybrid / Field-Based as Needed) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead and manage environmental projects across Michigan. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution from planning through completion, ensuring regulatory compliance, budget control, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental consulting, project leadership, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities • Manage environmental projects including site investigations, remediation, and compliance initiatives • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and work plans • Serve as primary client contact, providing project updates and technical guidance • Coordinate field staff, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery • Review and approve technical reports, field data, and deliverables • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Michigan-specific environmental regulations • Track project financials, manage change orders, and control costs • Support business development efforts through proposal writing and client relationships • Maintain safety standards and quality control across all project activities Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or project management • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and teams • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills • Ability to travel to project sites across Michigan • Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications • Professional certification (PG, PE, PMP, or similar) • Experience with remediation, Phase I/II ESA, and regulatory reporting • Familiarity with Michigan EGLE requirements • Experience mentoring junior staff • EMAIL ME levi.warren@gogpac.com
